Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke to Ukrainians at the end of the 54th day of the full-scale invasion of russia.
In his video appeal, he underlined that russian army didn’t slow down with missiles used against Ukraine.
“Although they had already to understand that it would be extremely complicated to renovate the missile stock under the condition of even existing sanctions. And when there are no creepholes that are currently used to circumvent sanctions, and even more strict sanctions go live, the renovation of the missile potential of russia will be unreal. Thus, the russian missile strikes lead to the only thing that is missile self demilitarization by the rf,” said Zelenskyy.
The President added that the similar process is obvious for other kinds of russian weapons. That will be impossible for russia to produce new artillery, aircraft, new helicopters, and cruisers under the condition of sanctions.
Zelenskyy emphasized that none of the missile strikes changed significantly the situation for russia. He called these strikes “strategical nonsense”.
“Today’s attacks of Lviv, the Dnipro region, and any other strike mean only one thing that we, the world, and the history will take away from russia much more than the russian missiles have already taken from Ukraine. Each life that was taken away is just one more proof for Ukrainians and other free people to take russia as a threat only, from generation to generation. Meanwhile, any infrastructure may be rebuilt. And we will do that, for sure,” he said.
Earlier the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksii Danilov, asked Ukrainians who are in the places where the military activities start to leave the territories immediately.
