Two more mass graves of civilians killed by the russian military have been discovered in Borodyanka, the Kyiv region.
The graves were found on 20 April. In one of them, there were two men 35 years old and a fifteen-year-old girl. This was reported by the police of the Kyiv region.
"In the second place of burial, the police found the bodies of six people: 4 men and 2 women. Four of them were identified also as local residents, the names of the two dead are still unknown," - said the police.
The burial sites were inspected by forensic scientists, investigators, and the regional police chief Andriy Nebytov.
"These people were killed by the occupiers, some of the victims have signs of torture. I want to emphasize that these people were civilians. The russian military deliberately shot civilians who did not resist and did not pose any threat", said Andriy Nebitov.
The bodies of all the dead were taken to the morgues of the Kyiv region. The identified bodies will then be handed over to relatives for burial.
Borodyanka, according to Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova, had suffered the most from the settlements of the Kyiv region in terms of the number of civilian victims. This village was occupied on February 27 and liberated on April 1.

The exact number of the dead in Borodyanka is still unknown, as work on dismantling the blockages is still ongoing.
The presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia visited the village during their visits to Ukraine, and yesterday the President of the European Council Charles Michel visited there.
