Russia fired on the Chernihiv region from its territory.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
"Last night, the russian federation fired on Ukrainian territory at the Gorsk section of the Chernihiv border detachment. About ten grenades fired from abroad by an automatic grenade launcher exploded near the border village of Senkivka," is said in the statement.
Border guards noted that this is the fourth recorded by border guards shelling of the Chernihiv region from russian territory after the defenders of Ukraine expelled the invaders from the region. Twice from the three previous shellings, the enemy also aimed at the border near Senkivka, but then with mortars.
Border guards were not injured during the shelling.
On April 14, russia launched a missile strike on the Chernihiv region, using weapons prohibited by international law. And on April 15, she fired twice at the positions of Ukrainian border guards.
