Ukrainian general prosecutor office: The deputies and head of russian parliament declared suspected

They supported decisions to invade the territory of Ukraine and violate the sovereignty of our state.

The head of russian parliament and its 418 deputies were declared suspected as the result of them supporting the decrees about invasion of Ukraine and violation of Ukrainian sovereignty, says the office of General prosecutor.

"According to the information of inquest, the head of parliament and 418 out of 450 deputies, on february 15th 2022 at the hearings of Federal Assembly in russian parliament supported the decree of russian president in which he proposed to recognize the self proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics as independent and sovereign states," - says the prosecutor office.

Ukraine enclosed to the case the ratification of accords on partnership, cooperation and bilateral help between russian federation and so-called Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics from February 22, 2022.

According to the information of prosecutor office, pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings are conducted by regional investigation teams of Security and Procedural service in regional prosecutor offices of Vinnytsya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Khmelnytsky.
