The enemy's offensive operation in the Eastern Operational Zone continues to establish complete control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions' territory and maintain the ground corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The russian enemy conducts missile strikes and artillery shelling of objects of civilian and military infrastructure on the territory of Ukraine further from the border and the positions of our troops along the confrontation line and within the border areas. In addition, regrouping and strengthening of the russian occupying forces continue.
The russian enemy did not take active actions in the Volyn and Polissya areas. There have been no significant changes in the situation in these areas.
In the Siversk area, the russian units fired on the positions of our troops close to the municipalities of Kindrativka, Katerynivka, Svarkove, and Bilokopytove.
In the Slobozhanshchyna area, the enemy is concentrating its primary efforts on maintaining current positions and firing on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To strengthen their troops, the russians are moving some units of the Eastern Military District from the territory of the Belgorod region to the area of the city of Izium. Russian units tried to conduct an offensive in the area of Sulyhivka and Dovhenke but had no success. The enemy is trying to install air defense systems to provide cover for its groups in Kharkiv and Izium areas.
In the East Operational Zone, the russians continue to assault Lyman (close to municipalities Yampil, Ozerne, and Lyman) and Sievierodonetsk areas. In addition, the russian invaders are trying to take over Rubizhne, Popasnianske (in the direction of Kalynove and Popasna), and Kurakhiv (Olenivka and Novomykhailivka) areas. The russians have no success; the combat continues.
The russians do not stop shelling Ukrainian units in the Zaporizhzhia area.
In the Pivdennyi Buh area, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations. However, Isolated shootings on the positions of Ukrainian units were recorded.
There are no significant changes in the Bessarabia area.
In the Mykolaiv area, the enemy intensified air reconnaissance going deep into the territory of Ukraine, reaching the defense positions of UAF, probably, to check whether the reserve units existed and how big they were.
During the previous day, the Air Defense Units of the Air Forces and the Ground Forces hit ten air targets: one aircraft and nine tactical UAVs "Orlan-10."
In the last 24 hours, Ukrainian worriers fought back fourteen russians attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and destroyed eleven tanks, seven artillery systems, twenty-eight armored military vehicles, and fourteen military vehicles.
After assaulting Ukrainian positions in the Luhansk region, only seven russian airborne soldiers survived.
