The evacuation from Mariupol will take place at 7 am on 2 May 2022. The head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, announced the changes in the evacuation schedule.
“Mariupol, attention please: we have got changes in the time of evacuation start. Tomorrow, on 2 May 2022, the evacuation starts in Mariupol at 7 am. The meeting point is the trade and entertainment center Port City,” he informed.
He asked the relatives and friends of those who are still in Mariupol and who are in touch to inform them about this change.
On 1 May 2022, in Mariupol, the evacuation of civilians from the territory of the Azovstal plant got started with the support of the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Azov regiment showed the video of people’s evacuation.
Over 100 Ukrainians, including kids, women, and seniors, are moving to the territory under the control of Ukraine. The next day Zaporizhzhia will meet them.
