Air Defense Forces shot down two out of six enemy missiles over Lviv region

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down two russian missiles over the Lviv region. Overall the russian occupiers launched six missiles.

The Head of the Lviv RMA (Region Military Administration), Maksym Kozytsky, announced this information.

"Officially: what I can tell you now. The Air Defense Forces shot down two out of six enemy missiles over the Lviv region, according to preliminary information. Three missiles hit electrical substations in the Lviv region. One hit an electrical substation in the Zakarpattia region." It is assumed that the missiles were launched from the Caspian region," - he wrote on Facebook.

Kozytskyi also noted that three electrical substations in Lviv were severely damaged. The trains are delayed.

Two people needed medical assistance; they got shrapnel wounds. They said, they were not far from the sites of explosions. The physical condition of the victims is satisfactory.

I am grateful to the warriors of the Air Command "West" of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are doing everything possible to protect us from air threats. I am also grateful to the Chief Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, "Lvivoblenerho" and "Ukrzaliznytsia" that are promptly eliminating the consequences of the airstrikes and working to restore the electricity supply in residential areas of the city, "- added the Head of the RMA.

On the evening of 3 May 2022, russia launched airstrikes on Lviv. As a result, three electrical substations were damaged.
