Germany has decided to allocate another 125 million euros to Ukraine for humanitarian aid.

This was announced on May 5 by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"We constantly and substantially support Ukraine. Today, Germany allocates another 125 million euros of humanitarian aid," he said.

On the third day of russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine received more than 20 tons of humanitarian aid from Germany.

In March, the German Finance Ministry allocated 38.5 million euros to Ukraine to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe.

According to Deutsche Welle, as of March 26, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received additional assistance from their German partners: 350,000 food packages, 50 medical vehicles, and medicines. In April, Germany also finally approved the supply of heavy weapons to the Ukrainians.
