Today, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with the president of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
This information was confirmed by the Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak on Telegram.
"Germany remains a powerful ally of Ukraine. There will be an official announcement about the details, I can only say that the hope of the russians for a split in the unity of Europe in supporting Ukraine is in vain," he said.

According to German media, Steinmeier wanted to pay a visit to Kyiv in April, but President Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly did not invite him. Among the reasons cited are the close ties of the German politician with russia in the past.
The President of Ukraine, in turn, said that he had not received Steinmeier's request for a visit. And Scholz called Kyiv's decision offensive. At the same time, he rejected accusations that Germany was in no hurry to provide military assistance to Ukraine.
After that Germany approved a permit to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine.
