Russia continues its offense in the Eastern Operational Zone, seeking full control of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintaining a land corridor between them and Crimea. The enemy is also continuing rocket attacks on transport infrastructure to prevent the movement of humanitarian aid and military-technical assistance.
At the same time, russia is provoking tensions in the Transnistrian region of Moldova and Belarus. Enemies are regrouping, taking measures to replenish ammunition and fue,l and trying to improve the tactical situation, according to the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“In the temporarily occupied territories, the occupiers continue to steal agricultural products. The russian side continues to accuse the Ukrainian government of creating a humanitarian catastrophe in the occupied territories. Also, the invaders imitate humanitarian activities with the demonstrative distribution of food kits and medicines.
The use of mortars and artillery along almost the entire line of the attack continues. The enemy did not take active action in the Volyn and Polissya directions. The Armed Forces of Belarus have been brought to the highest level of combat readiness for their testing.
Engineering equipping the positions in the border areas of the Kursk region continues in the Siversky direction.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tried to restore the lost positions near the city of Kharkiv and made an unsuccessful attempt to attack near the settlement of Stary Saltiv.
Due to constant sanitary losses, russia is increasing the system of medical support for troops and using a network of civilian medical institutions in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region. The occupiers built a hospital on the basis of Kupyansk City Hospital.
The enemy does not stop trying to improve the tactical position of its units in the area of the city of Izyum, artillery shelling of nearby settlements has no success.
Due to heavy losses, the enemy withdrew units from the 4th Panzer Division of the 1st Panzer Army and the 106th Airborne Division to rebuild.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy tried to capture Popasna, take full control of the city of Rubizhne, and provide favorable conditions for the continuation of the offensive in the direction of the cities of Lyman and Severodonetsk, but was unsuccessful.
In the South Bug area, the enemy focused on fortifying positions, replenishing ammunition, fue,l and logistics.
Administrative-policing measures are underway in the temporarily occupied territories. The occupiers continue to carry out filtering measures against local residents, preventing evacuations to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. The occupiers are also making up for the loss of personnel through accelerated military training under contract.
We are reminding, that today Azov regiment reported that the russian occupiers weren't knocked out of Azovstal, they are still in the territory of the plant. The enemy broke into the enterprise on May 3.
Ukrainian defenders remain at Azovstal, and civilians remain in hiding.
