There is a threat of enemy landings in the north-western part of the Black Sea, the Russians are conducting reconnaissance by drones, including strikes.
This was reported by the Operational Command "Pivden".
"The enemy continues to maintain tensions in the north-western part of the Black Sea by the presence of its naval group, the threat of landing, ️conducting reconnaissance with UAVs, including strike type," - said in a statement.
It is noted that the defense forces perform their assigned tasks and effectively counter the enemy. The Armed Forces warns that the sounds of explosions and shots heard by residents of coastal areas may be an appropriate accompaniment to these measures.
"We promptly inform the public about the results of this work, and while it continues, we ask you to remain calm and patient," the statement said.
The military calls on:
Do not visit beaches and other forbidden areas,
Do not go out on the water using small and other vessels,
Do not put yourself in danger
Do not interfere with their actions.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine thank the citizens for their vigilance and emphasize that informing the relevant authorities about suspicious activity in the coastal zone helps to keep the situation stable and controlled. And non-disclosure of information about the activities of the defense forces is our common opposition to the enemy.
It will be recalled that British intelligence said that Russia seeks to control access to the Black Sea. Having established control over maritime connections, the enemy wants to weaken Ukraine's economy.
