Russian invaders prepare provocations during the 9 May celebrations in Melitopol, including the shooting of people, to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The mayor of the city Ivan Fedorov informed on Facebook.
"According to the law enforcement agencies, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they (the russian occupiers – ed.) plan to shoot at civilians, they plan to disperse the protesters, disperse the participants of the marches, and do everything to provoke chaos and panic during the celebration of 9 May. And then they want to blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our task is to prevent this," Fedorov said.
According to Fedorov, collaborators are trying to force children of Melitopol residents to participate in solemn celebrations by acting through parent committees in schools.
In the captured Melitopol of the Zaporizhzhia region, invaders force children to wear St. George's ribbons and learn poems about the war.
