As of May 9, about 811 settlements in Ukraine remain without electricity (more than 723 thousand consumers), without gas supply - more than 215 thousand subscribers.
This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The largest outages were in Donetsk region – 319.9 thousand consumers, Kharkiv - 171 thousand, Luhansk - more than 128.2 thousand.
"The most difficult situation with gas supply is observed in Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions," the ministry said.
At the same time, experts are working to restore energy supply to the homes of Ukrainians.
In the last day power supply was restored for about 33 thousand consumers.
"Odessa region - 13.8 thousand, Kyiv - 9.1 thousand, Donetsk - 8.9 thousand, Kherson - 800 consumers, Mykolaiv - 400 consumers," - said on the website of the Ministry of Energy.
Gas supply was restored to more than 1,500 subscribers.
The ministry notes that in some areas emergency recovery work is difficult or impossible due to the intensification of hostilities and the emergence of new damage.
During May 2-8 power supply was restored for 8,405 households of the Kyiv region.
