The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko released a video showing the state of Azovstal.
«Mariupol. Azovstal. May 9, 2022. 75 days of resistance. Unconquerable and Unconquered», Andryushchenko wrote on Telegram.
He emphasized: «Deepest gratitude to all our defenders of Mariupol. There are no synonyms for your feat. We are all indebted to you».
Earlier, Petro Andryushchenko reported that after an exit of the UN column the russian occupying forces resumed the assault on Azovstal: made an attempt to break through the bridge which was used to evacuate civilians.
Later, the Chief of the Border Detachment Colonel Valery Paditel, said in a video message that the fighters of the Donetsk border detachment together with their comrades continue to defend themselves at the Mariupol plant.
