Pro-russian Telegram channels are spreading a fake about a drastic deterioration of the epidemic situation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

That was announced by the Center for Combating Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

“Russia seeks to create panic among Ukrainian defenders, not hesitating to “spread” the fake that “an epidemic of tuberculosis has begun in the Ukrainian army”. In particular, propagandists note that “Ukrainian doctors cannot determine the exact cause of the epidemic, but are inclined to two variants of the mass outbreak”: “the drafting of unexamined reservists and territorial defense fighters” and “active draft of the prisoners into the ranks of the UAF”,” CCD said.

Russian propagandists refer to “an unknown source in the General Staff of the UAF”.

“We warn you that this information is not true and is created for one purpose only - to demoralize and spread panic among the military!” the Center for Combating Disinformation stressed.

We have to remind you that all of the publicity groups (chat groups, Telegram channels, FB groups) about finding relatives, identifying damage, etc., which concern Mariupol, are administered by “DNR volunteers”, but in fact are agents of the russian FSB.

Recently, the Center for Combating Disinformation debunked russian fakes about the Lend-Lease for Ukraine.
