Great Britain added the patriarch of the russian orthodox church Cyril (Gundyayev) to the sanction list, informs the British Government’s webpage.

When the EU countries adopted the 6th package of sanctions against russia, the patriarch Cyril was excluded from it upon the insistence of Hungary.
The spokesperson of Ukrainian Ministry of international affairs Oleg Nikolayenko said, Ukraine is working towards including the russian patriarch Cyril in the future package of sanctions.
