A Russian missile strike has hit a shopping centre in Kremenchuk, Poltava Region, the head of the regional military administration, Dmytro Lunin, has said.
Medics, rescuers and police are working at the scene. The number of casualties is being specified.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, there were "over a thousand visitors" at the shopping centre.
He published a video of the mall on fire on Telegram.
"Russia continues to avenge its impotence on common citizens. It is useless to hope for it to be adequate and humane," he said, stressing that the shopping centre posed to danger or strategic value to the Russian army.
