US Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho), ranking member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, visited the devastated towns of Hostomel and Irpin in Kyiv Region, the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, has said on Telegram.
"He saw with his own eyes the destruction of the settlements and the consequences of crimes committed by the Russian army. The delegation also visited Antonov International Airport, where the Ukrainian Mriya aircraft was destroyed by the ruscists," Kuleba said, adding that Risch was "shocked by what he saw".
