Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko is aware that the announcement of partial mobilization in the republic can lead to a social explosion, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports.

"The Belarusian authorities are closely watching the chaos that is taking place in the framework of the so-called "partial mobilization" in the Russian Federation and understand that in case of the announcement of partial mobilization in Belarus, the situation will be even more complicated and may lead to a social explosion in the country," - the statement reads.

According to the military intelligence, the Belarusian special services are covertly studying the possible reaction of the society and readiness to join the protest actions in case of mobilization.

The Intelligence Directorate believes that the Belarusian regime is aware of the danger of its decision to openly join the Russian war against Ukraine.

That is why Lukashenko continues to make loud statements and is demonstrating the Russian President Vladimir Putin that he is fulfilling his allied obligations, in particular, distracting part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves from their possible involvement at the front in eastern and southern Ukraine.

"This indicates that the self-proclaimed Belarusian authorities are not confident in the general public support for the decisions on the participation of their country in the military adventures of the Russian Federation," the Main Intelligence Directorate concludes.
