During the day, Russia launched nine Iranian Shahed-136 strike drones from the territory of Belarus to target Ukraine. Eight of them were shot down, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening update.

Russians carried out four missile, 11 air and over a dozen MLRS attacks.

Civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolayiv regions came under Russian fire.

"At night, the occupiers also attacked Uman, Cherkasy Region, and Kobleve, Mykolayiv Region, with five Iranian-made Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicles. All of them were successfully shot down by the Defence Forces of Ukraine," the General Staff said.

Meanwhile, the aviation of the Defence Forces conducted 10 strikes on the Russians during the day. The destruction of six clusters of weapons and military equipment, as well as four positions of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed.

Air defence units shot down four cruise missiles, one Ka-52 helicopter and 13 Shahed-136 UAVs. Missile troops and artillery struck three command posts, four clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an electronic warfare station, one bridge and one pontoon crossing of the Russians.
