Russians conduct offensives in Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Novopavlivsk areas – General Staff

The Russian army is carrying out offensives in the areas of Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlivsk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has said.

During the day, Russia launched four missile, 26 air and over 27 MRLS strikes, hitting over 20 population centres. Among them are Mykilske in Zaporizhzhya Region, Poltava, Kramatorsk, Nikopol and Mykolayiv.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces' aviation carried out 22 strikes. They hit 19 clusters of Russian weapons and military equipment, as well as three positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. In different sectors, Ukrainian air defence units shot down two Orlan-10 UAVs and six Shahed-136 attack drones.

Units of missile troops and artillery hit two clusters of Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition warehouse and four other important military targets.

The occupiers continue to forcibly relocate the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Region. They intimidate civilian residents, spreading information about a possible detonation of the Kakhovka hydro power plant dam.

The Russian occupuing administration of Kherson was moved to the city of Skadovsk.

The occupying command is trying to compensate the constant loss of personnel that take direct part in hostilities in Ukraine with mobilised servicemen. Those who refuse to participate in combat operations are "worked" with by the Russian FSB.
