The Coordination Centre for Humanitarian Aid in Lviv Region received the first container with winter uniforms for Ukrainian defenders, the Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyy announced.
The U.S. sent warm winter jackets, fleece clothing, black and white American army shoes, frost-resistant pants (for special units).
"All this clothing will reliably serve our guys in cold snowy or rainy weather. We also received three large pallets of gas masks for soldiers and civilians. This cargo is one of the first containers that open the US volunteer support program for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with our headquarters," said Kozytskyy.
Part of the aid from this container has already been sent to the Zaporizhzhya area. Another 20 such containers are to arrive in the region soon.
