German publication Spiegel published satellite images of activity at the Russian military airfield Engels-2, which may indicate the preparation of a new strike on Ukraine.

Journalists noted that images from 28 November show unusual movement at a key Russian military airport. Experts see that it is on high alert.

Many large cargo planes and carts for transporting X-55 and X-101 cruise missiles are on the runway.

"Activity at the base is extremely high," independent military analyst Arda Mevlutoglu confirmed to reporters.

The previous massive missile strike on Ukraine was launched by the Russians on 23 November. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that this week could be as challenging as the previous one. The operational command South noted that on Monday, for the first time in several days, the Russians took a missile carrier into out in the sea, which confirms preparations for the strike. Ukrainians were urged not to neglect the air raid rules and to stay in shelters after the signal.
