Ukrainian defenders repelled all Russian attacks in the Lyman and Avdiyivka sectors. The Russians are suffering numerous losses in the Bakhmut sector, where they are conducting offensive operations, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening update.
In the Kupyansk, Novopavlivka, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson sectors, the Russians are on the defensive.
During the day, Russians launched five rocket attacks on civilian objects in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Region, and 13 air strikes. They also fired over 10 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
At the same time, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces conducted eight strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as three strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. Rocket and artillery units hit eight Russian clusters.
