President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen discussed the supply of tanks to Ukraine.
Frederiksen said at a joint press conference with Zelenskyy on 30 January that the issue of tanks is important.
"Since the beginning of this war, Denmark has said that it will support Ukraine with whatever it takes. I think that we have proved in many ways that we are really a true friend of Ukraine. Of course, tanks are what we discussed today," the Danish prime minister said.
Frederiksen emphasized that her country had provided Ukraine with artillery systems, but "tanks are also necessary".
Earlier today, Zelenskyy and Frederiksen visited the Mykolayiv commercial sea port and inspected the oil storage tanks that were destroyed by Russian missile and drone attacks.
Frederiksen said that Denmark is joining the Grain from Ukraine initiative.
