On 15 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees dismissing three heads of regional military administrations.
The texts of the decrees are published on the president's website.
The president dismissed Serhiy Hayday (Donetsk Region), Serhiy Hamaliy (Khmelnytskyy Region) and Maksym Marchenko (Odesa Region).
These dismissals were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers the day before.
LB.ua's sources reported that Hayday's resignation was connected with his appointment as ambassador to Kazakhstan. Hayday was put in charge of the Luhansk regional military administration in 2019. Hamaliy has been the head of Khmelnytskyy Region since December 2020. Marchenko has been the head of Odesa Region since March 2022. Previously, he was the commander of the 28th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
