Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov has called the nighttime explosion of an ammunition depot in Crimea a successful operation by his agency and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"A successful operation was conducted in occupied Crimea. The enemy is hiding the extent of the damage and the number of casualties. We are grateful to the Ukrainian patriots in Crimea for additional detailed information and a video of the joint work of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he said.

Budanov reminded those Ukrainians who, due to circumstances, remained in the occupied territories or were forcibly relocated to the territory of the Russian Federation, to use the feedback bot @guruabot.

A fire broke out at a training ground in the Islyam Terek (Kirovske) District of Crimea on the morning of 19 July. Ammunition is detonating. The Russians are evacuating the nearby settlements.
