Russia launched a missile attack on downtown Mykolayiv at around 03:03 a.m. on 20 July, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, has said.
At least one person was killed and 19 wounded, Mykolayiv deputy city head Anatoliy Petrov told Suspilne. There are children among those who required hospital care. Two people were recovered from the debris.
A three-storey house was badly damaged and a fire broke out on the area of 450 sq m, which was extinguished at 07:45. Neighbouring residential high rises and car garages were also damaged, Kim said.
