On the night of 23 August, Russians attacked the south of Odesa Region with attack drones for three hours, targeting civil infrastructure, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, has said on Telegram.

According to him, air defence forces destroyed nine Shahed-136/131 drones.

"Unfortunately, there were hits on the production and transshipment complexes where a fire broke out, with a total area of 700 sq.m. As of 6 a.m., the fire was localised. Granaries are damaged," he said.

All emergency services are currently working at the site. Law enforcers are documenting the crime. There are no civilian casualties.

On the night of 16 August, the Russians attacked port and industrial infrastructure facilities in Odesa Region. The attack damaged a silo and grain storage facilities.
