President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promoted Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, to the rank of lieutenant general.
The corresponding decree No. 564/2023 was published on the website of the Presidential Office.
"To confer the rank of lieutenant general to Major General Budanov Kyrylo Oleksiyovych, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine," the document says.
