On Monday, 13 November, the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv convicted a 38-year-old man who targeted a Russian missile at the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration building on 1 March 2022, current head of Kharkiv RMA Synyehubov reported via Telegram.
According to him, the traitor was sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of property. The head of the regional administration reminded that the attack resulted in the death of 31 people. The building was almost completely destroyed.
The investigation fully proved the facts of the suspect's cooperation with Russian special services, to whom he transmitted information about the Armed Forces and the infrastructure of Kharkiv Region through social media and spread Russian propaganda narratives.
The case was investigated by the National Police Investigation Department under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office and with operational support from the Special Police Department.
On the morning of 1 March 2022, Russian troops fired rockets at the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv. The occupiers hit the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the opera house, the philharmonic and residential buildings. After the rescuers arrived, the enemy fired a similar missile 6-7 minutes after the first strike.
