The Ministry of Defence, together with the Ministry of Strategic Industries, will increase the production of missiles, ammunition, weapons and military equipment several times next year, Lt-Gen Ivan Havrylyuk has announced at the news telethon.
The main attention will be paid to the production of air defence systems - from conventional man-portable air defence systems to air defence systems with a range of more than 100 km (such as the Coral air defence system).
"In addition, the approved budget for 2024 stipulates that about UAH 175 billion will be allocated for the purchase of missiles and ammunition so that our Defence Forces can adequately counter Russian aggression," Havrylyuk said.
