On the night of 6 April, air defence forces managed to shoot down 28 Russian Shaheds and three cruise missiles, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
Russia attacked Ukraine with 32 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs, as well as six missiles of various types: three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and two X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from strategic aircraft and one Kalibr cruise missile from the Black Sea. The Ukrainian Air Force managed to destroy two X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, a Kalibr and 28 attack UAVs.
"Russian army continues to terrorise Ukrainians, striking at Kharkiv and other peaceful cities. Unfortunately, we now have dead and wounded, our condolences to the families," the Air Force said in a statement.
