The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine conducted a special operation in the Kaliningrad region, damaging the Serpukhov small missile carrier in the Baltic Sea.
This is stated in a statement by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The fire inside the missile ship completely destroyed its communications and automation equipment.
"On 7 April 2024, on the territory of the enemy's naval base in the city of Baltiysk, Kaliningrad region of Russia, a fire put the Serpukhov missile ship out of action," the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports. The intelligence service adds that it will take a long time to restore the Serpukhov's combat capability and promises to continue the "rumblings" in Russia.
The Serpukhov missile ship is a Russian Project 21631 Buyan-M vessel launched by Russia in 2015.
