The Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate was behind the attack on the oil depot near Staryy Osokol (Belgorod Region), sources told Ukrayinska Pravda.
The sources said that the target was hit. No details are available.
‘The DIU operation, the target was hit,’ the sources said.
The attack resulted in an explosion, after which the tank caught fire. Local authorities reported that the blast wave smashed windows in the guarded building, but there were no casualties.
