The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to dismiss Mustafa Nayyem from the post of head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Reconstruction and Development.
This was reported by the government's press service.
"At its meeting on 18 June, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a resolution to dismiss Mustafa Nayyem-Masi from the post of head of the State Agency for the Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine," the statement said.
Roman Komendant has been appointed interim head of the State Agency.
Nayem also wrote on his Facebook page that the government had agreed to dismiss him at his own request. He also noted that he had worked in the post for 505 days.
Nayyem was appointed to this position in January 2023. Prior to that, he was Deputy Minister of Infrastructure. On 10 June 2024, Nayyem wrote a letter of resignation.
