Russian forces struck a civilian building in central Sumy with two attack drones. This was reported on Telegram by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar added that the Russians hit a kindergarten building.
"The Russians hit a civilian building in the central part of Sumy with two attack UAVs. A rescue operation is under way," he wrote.
According to updated information, the kindergarten guard died as a result of the strike. There were no children in the facility.
