Explosions were reported across several regions of Russia overnight and on the morning of 7 May amid a drone attack. Residents of the Moscow Region reported that air defence systems had been activated in various parts of the region.
In particular, a military unit in Naro-Fominsk, in the Moscow Region, was reportedly targeted, as was the Bryansk Region. This was reported by the Exilenova+ channel.
According to the channel, drones struck the Nara complex in Naro-Fominsk, which belongs to the Russian Ministry of Defence. The facility reportedly covers several hundred hectares and is used for cargo storage and automated military logistics.
The Moscow authorities stated that 13 drones had been shot down since the start of the day, whilst the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that air defence forces had intercepted 347 drones over 21 regions and the waters of three seas — presumably including the occupied territory of Ukraine.
