Veteran, human rights advocate and author Alina Sarnatska will visit Washington, D.C., where two readings of her texts will take place.

On 11 May, the theatre Spooky Action Theater will host a performance based on Sarnatska’s text, performed by actress Natasha Diaz and directed by Elizabeth Dinkova.

On 12 May, Sarnatska will read her play “Balance”, dedicated to the experience of war, at the Ukrainian House in Washington. A discussion with the author will follow the reading.

The events are co-organised by the charitable foundation Leleka Foundation and the Ukrainian House in Washington.
