Romanian director and screenwriter Radu Jude is preparing to shoot his new film, Love Diptych. The film will be a co-production between Romania, Brazil, Greece and Ukraine. On the Ukrainian side, the project involves ForeFilms, run by Volodymyr Yatsenko and Anna Yatsenko, whose production portfolio includes U Are the Universe by director Pavlo Ostrikov, Luxembourg, Luxembourg by Antonio Lukich, among others.
Volodymyr Yatsenko announced the collaboration on his Facebook page.
The film’s budget will be €0.5 million, with filming set to take place over two weeks in June near Bucharest.
During the Cannes Film Festival, scheduled for 13–23 May, the world premiere of Jude’s other film, The Maids’ Diary, will take place.
