On the night of August 16, Russian aircraft struck a private residential area of Sloviansk with high-explosive aerial bombs.
This was reported by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
As a result of the enemy airstrikes, a residential house and an outbuilding caught fire at two different addresses. Rescuers contained the fires, but suspended operations due to the threat of renewed shelling.
In total, 22 private homes were damaged. No reports of casualties have been received.
