The Ministry of Defense has codified a Ukrainian drone with a range of more than 2,000 kilometers. It can remain in the air for more than a day.

These capabilities are enough to reach targets in the Urals and western Siberia, the Defense Ministry reported. During tests, the Dovbush T40 demonstrated a number of advantages over its counterparts:

  • ultra-low radar signature;
  • high engine performance with an electronic fuel injection system;
  • strong resistance to electronic warfare.

“Different equipment options enable the model to conduct deep reconnaissance, adjust fire, and deliver high-precision strikes by dropping munitions or in a kamikaze format,” the Ministry of Defense said. The Dovbush T40 was developed by a company that already has substantial experience in building such aircraft. The Dovbush T20 and Kotyhoroshko unmanned aerial systems have been used on the battlefield since 2022, and they have some of the highest effectiveness ratings.
