Ukrainian company Combat Birds of Ukraine has unveiled the TRX unmanned aerial vehicle, designed for reconnaissance and strike missions. The Defender Media reports.
The drone has a claimed range of up to 450 km and an endurance of more than 200 minutes. Its cruising speed is 120 km/h, while its operating altitude ranges from 50 to 500 metres. The UAV has a maximum take-off weight of 46 kg and can carry 7–12 kg of payload.
The drone can be operated via satellite or digital radio communications. It is equipped with daylight and thermal imaging cameras. Its target acquisition system enables automatic launch.
The UAV is currently undergoing codification and is already being used by the Defence Forces as a relay. The combat deployment of its strike variant is expected to begin in the near future.
Combat Birds of Ukraine is a Ukrainian defence tech company founded in 2022 by a team of aerial reconnaissance pilots, engineers and developers. The company develops, manufactures and upgrades unmanned aerial systems for reconnaissance and strike missions, including the Halka, Zozulia, Valkyrie and Dzyga UAVs.
