The Kyiv region came under another hostile attack overnight and in the morning of 23 September. Eighteen sites were damaged across different districts. Three people were injured — all in the Bucha district.
A 76-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds and facial abrasions. He is in a state of emotional shock and stress, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported.
“Two other men were also injured. One has an open fracture of the forearm, a laceration above the eyebrow and a chest contusion. The other has a laceration to the frontal area of the head. Both were taken to a local hospital,” he said.
The most severe damage was recorded in the Bucha district — 14 affected sites are known. These include six private households, a warehouse, a production-and-warehouse facility and an administrative building, the grounds of a municipal enterprise, an administrative building, an infrastructure facility and two passenger cars.
In the Obukhiv district, two private households were damaged. In the Fastiv district, a production facility was damaged. In the Vyshhorod district, an infrastructure facility was damaged.
“Rescue workers, medics, municipal services and all responsible agencies continue to work on the ground, help people and deal with the aftermath of the attack,” the head of the Regional Military Administration added.
