On 25 September, the Russian army deliberately struck a DTEK vehicle. One energy worker was killed and another wounded.
After an air-raid alert was issued, their vehicle drove away from the substation, but a drone deliberately changed course and attacked it, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported. Today, the enemy attacked various critical infrastructure facilities in the region.
“An infrastructure facility and a company’s production and warehouse building were damaged. Three people were injured. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze,” Kiper said.
Ukrainian energy workers have repeatedly been targeted by Russian strikes.
