In Kyiv, four people were killed and seven others injured, including a child, as a result of a Russian drone strike on an office building. Russian forces also attacked a warehouse used by McDonald’s with a drone.
President reported this, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"As of now, it is known that four people have been killed as a result of a Russian drone strike on an office building in Kyiv. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Seven more people have been injured, including a child," Zelenskyy wrote.
According to Zelenskyy, today Russian forces also carried out a drone strike on a warehouse used by McDonald’s.
"A strike drone against ordinary food products," the president stressed.
He said Russia continues to expand the scale of its attacks, with targets including facilities linked to everyday civilian life.
"The Russians are constantly expanding their escalation operation: American and other businesses, data centres, internet providers — for Russia, all ordinary life is simply a target," Zelenskyy wrote.
He said such attacks affect people’s ability to stay connected, study and work.
Zelenskyy also stressed the need for an international response to Russian attacks.
"It is important that the world responds to all of this, and that Russia feels the consequences of its terror. Our long-range capabilities and the world’s sanctions must work together precisely for this — for concrete consequences for Russia," the president said.
