In Kyiv, train services have been restored on the above-ground section of the metro’s “green” line under the yellow alert level.
This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
From now on, during an air-raid alert at the yellow alert level, “green” line trains will carry passengers between the right and left banks of the Dnipro.
In the event of a red alert level being declared, services on the above-ground section will be suspended. Trains will then run on two separate sections:
- “Syrets” – “Vydubychi”;
- “Osokorky” – “Chervonyi Khutir”.
Before passenger services resumed, test trains ran along the above-ground section in both directions.
- In Kyiv on 4 October, due to the aftermath of a Russian attack, public transport services were organised under revised routes.
