In Vinnytsia, a 12-year-old boy died after being electrocuted on the roof of a railway carriage.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The incident occurred in the evening of 6 November. Rescuers removed the child’s body and handed it over to law enforcement officers. The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated.
The State Emergency Service urged parents to explain to children the danger of such “entertainment”.
“The railway overhead contact system carries high voltage: a fatal electric shock is possible even without touching the wires,” the statement said.
