In 2015, industrial production in Ukraine shrank by 13.4 per cent compared with 2014, the State Statistics Service said in an express review on 21 January.
The extraction industry slumped by 14.5 per cent, the processing industry by 13.1 per cent, and the energy and gas supply and distribution by 12 per cent.
Last time, the Ukrainian industry saw a month-on-month increase back in May 2012.
Manufacturing together with construction, retail and agriculture are among the key industries critical to Ukraine's GDP.
