Unidentified individuals have set off a bomb under an electric locomotive when it was approaching to the Yasynuvata railway station in Donetsk Region, which is controlled by pro-Russian separatists.
As a result, seven cars were derailed, Interfax-Ukraine has quoted a statement of the so-called transport ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic as saying.
"An explosive detonated today under an electric locomotive of the Donetsk railway at the entrance to the Yasynuvata station from the direction of Ukraine today, 16 February. As a result of the explosion, seven cars were derailed, one fell on its side," it said.
There were no casualties.
The separatists described the incident as a "terrorist act" committed by a "Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group".
